Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

HEARD Digital Marketing operates heardmarketing.io. We are based at 1550 Wewatta St, Denver, CO 80202. You can reach us at evan@heardmarketing.io or (303) 344-8100.

This policy covers what happens when you visit this website. It does not cover the separate agreements we have with clients whose marketing we manage.

2. What you give us directly

When you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you type into it. Depending on the form, that means your name, email address, phone number, business name, city, the message you write, and your answers to the Fix Your 3 Leaks diagnostic. If you leave a comment on a blog post, we collect the name and email you enter. Your email is never displayed publicly with your comment.

We store these submissions in our own database and send them to our customer relationship system, HEARD Connect, which runs on GoHighLevel.

3. What gets collected automatically

Like most websites, this one collects technical information as you browse: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you arrived, and how long you stayed.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic patterns. We use a visitor tracking script from our own CRM to connect website activity to enquiries we receive.

4. Visitor identification, and what that means

This is the part most privacy policies bury, so we are putting it plainly.

We run a pixel from OSPRY by Legion. Its purpose is visitor identification. It attempts to match anonymous website visitors against third-party identity databases so we can understand who is researching our services. This is more than analytics. It can associate your visit here with information about you held elsewhere.

Under Colorado and California privacy law, this kind of processing may be treated as targeted advertising or as a sale or sharing of personal information, even though no money changes hands. You have the right to opt out. See section 8.

5. Other services embedded on this site

Booking calendars and the live chat widget are provided by GoHighLevel and load from info.heardmarketing.io and leadconnectorhq.com. Videos are hosted by Vimeo. Maps come from Google Maps. Fonts load from Google Fonts and Bunny Fonts. Our database and backend run on Supabase. Notification emails are sent through Resend. When you run the Fix Your 3 Leaks diagnostic, the business name and city you type are sent to the Google Places API so we can look up that business's public Google listing.

Each of these services may set its own cookies and collect its own data under its own privacy policy. We do not control what they collect.

6. What we do with it

We use what we collect to respond to enquiries, deliver the resources you request, run and improve the website, understand which marketing works, and follow up about our services. We do not sell your contact details to anyone.

7. Cookies and local storage

We store a few things in your browser: your accessibility preferences, whether you have dismissed a popup, and which version of a page you were shown when we are testing two versions. If you are a logged-in administrator, we store a session token.

Third parties listed above set their own cookies and storage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may break parts of the site.

8. Your choices and your rights

Opting out of visitor identification and targeted advertising. Email evan@heardmarketing.io with the subject "Opt out" and we will stop processing your personal information for these purposes and ask our vendors to do the same. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.

If you are in Colorado, the Colorado Privacy Act gives you the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. You may appeal a refusal, and if we deny your appeal you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.

If you are in California, you have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Everyone else, ask us anyway. We will do the same thing.

To make a request, email evan@heardmarketing.io. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time the law allows.

9. How long we keep things

We keep form submissions and CRM records for as long as we are doing business with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for legitimate business or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

10. Security

We use reputable service providers and standard protections. No method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure, and we cannot promise otherwise.

11. Children

This site is for business owners. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

12. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
